About Diane Scott

Diane Scott is a globally recognized venture capitalist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist with a strong record of driving innovation. As the co-founder of SX2 Ventures, an international firm focused on value creation in the human care sector, she has built a reputation for spotting transformative opportunities.

Diane also serves as Chairman and CEO of JMCC Group, the firm’s largest investment, where her leadership has earned accolades—including a “Savvy CEO” nod from Forbes. At JMCC, she is expanding global access to medicinal cannabis and steering the company as the only Caribbean-based participant in Project Twenty21, the world’s largest observational study on medical cannabis. She further led the creation of JMCC Scientific, a division dedicated to advancing research, development, and production in the medical field.

With more than 20 years in executive roles across emerging industries, Diane has been recognized as one of North America’s top female cannabis CEOs by MJ Business. Her guidance has helped JMCC secure contracts with clients in Canada, Germany, Australia, and Brazil.

A sought-after speaker, Diane has participated in events such as the International Economic Forum of the Americas in Toronto and contributes to shaping the UK’s medicinal cannabis framework as a Founding Partner of the Centre for Medicinal Cannabis in London. Beyond her corporate work, she actively advises organizations that empower women-led businesses.
