Stephan Burger is a dynamic entrepreneur and seasoned executive known for driving business growth, streamlining operations, and creating lasting value. With deep expertise in acquisitions, infrastructure development, and strategic planning, he has consistently delivered sustainable success across multiple sectors. As a recognized leader in the energy space, Stephan has held key roles with EnergyBanq, BatteryBanq, Sunrise Energy, Mining Oil and Gas Services (MOGS), and Ghana Port Marine System (GPMS).

In 2020, he founded EnergyBanq, offering renewable energy solutions and consulting services throughout Africa. He also advises The Mermaid Group on energy-related import terminal acquisitions and sits on the Sandown Capital Investment Committee, holding equity in several energy ventures. As co-founder of MOGS, he drove strategic mergers that delivered projects like Africa’s largest LPG import facility and a multi-fuel terminal in Ghana.

Stephan is committed to philanthropy, supporting Ubuntu Pathways and the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital. He began his career at Investec Bank and Citi Group and holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Stellenbosch University and a Master’s in Management from WITS Business School.
